Kyodong Noodles: Reviews & Ratings

The portions are HUGE! Especially for what you're paying for, I thought the value and quality of food were really good. The noodles are slippery and perfectly aldente which I always look for in Korean Chinese noodle dishes. The lady running the register is friendly and anticipates your needs well. I didn't need to ask for a separate bowl to share my food, she brought one out when she served us. Jjamppong - 5/5, this is one of the best Jjamppong dishes I've tried. The broth is smoky and not too fishy from the seafood! Overall it isn't too spicy, but the heat builds as you eat more. I love that there's plenty of seafood and vegetables in this bowl of noodles! Jjajangmyeon - 4.5/5, you can see from the photo that the sauce is very glossy! Again, I like my sauce more sweet but this is almost perfect! The black bean sauce is very tasty I wish there were more potato and pork chunks, but it was very delicious! Tangsuyuk - 4/5, for some this will be a 5/5. For my personal taste, I found the sauce too vinegary as I like it to be on the sweeter side. The crispy pork pieces are fried super well, it's crunchy and light while remaining super tender inside. I like the assortment of vegetables and pickled cucumber in the sauce!

My first time here. We ordered to go. Spicy seafood noodle soup ( my husband love it), white seafood noodle soup (I love it), black bean noodle + fried pork with sweet sour sauce (my son said it's really good). Definitely recommend this Korean restaurant. The lady was very nice.

We came for the jajangmyeon and their buy 2, get 1 deal which they're running for a limited time only to celebrate their anniversary. Jajangmyeon - black bean sauce was fragrant and included lots of veggies, not much meat though Tangsuyuk - had way too much breading. I wish it'd been made with more pork and that the batter used were lighter. Jjamppong - seafood rich broth with plenty of noodles and a decent amount of seafood. Would recommend finishing all the noodles same day or storing separately from the broth or else your noodles will become oversaturated with the broth.

I have visited this store a few times with family and friends. It's an eatery type Korean Chinese noodle restaurant. The sauces are authentic and noodles are tasty. Service is order from counter then they serve to your table. The vibe is eatery style. I always order blackbean noodle or spicy seafood noodle or sometimes with sweet and sour pork. They taste just right and pickled dishes are made in house!

Kyodong is my go to for jiajangmyeon because it's affordable and always fills me up! Whenever I feel a cold coming, I go for the white seafood soup. There is a nice variety of seafood for a very decent price. When entering, you order at the cashier then the server will give you the food at your seat. Water and tea is also available at the back of the restaurant near the T.V. When you get seated, daikon is provided for jiajangmyeon, but if you're to go and want more daikon, then it's an extra $1.50. Parking is okay, I have not arrived at a busy hour so I usually find a spot immediately.

The food was good though it had to be doctored up with some of the condiments, which is not a problem for me. I did not appreciate the server who took my order. She seemed bothered/annoyed that I had a owner-issued coupon,( signed and everything) meal for having reviewed the restaurant a couple of times. I tried to order their spicy version of their jajangmyeon, which is only 50 cents more than the regular one, but she didn't accommodate, which I thought you was very small on her part. I did not take kindly to that and that's why I'm writing this review. I will still recommend it for people who are trying to get familiar with Chinese Korean fare, but it definitely left me with a sour vibe in the way I was treated by the older attendant. It is what it is. Salud!

This place can get crowded during lunch. I came here to try their jahang myeon and it was pretty good, it doesn't have the greasy feel as some other places. They put some cucumbers on top of the jajang myen (some pork, onions and zucchini). It could have used more pork meat, but the little that I got were big chunks. It is a nice, clean restaurant and not super loud which can be nice. You order and pay up at the register abd they'll bring your food to the table.

4.5 stars My friend and I were craving jjamppong, and we opted to try Kyodong Noodles and we were not disappointed. Kyodong has a very simple menu, and sometimes that it all one needs (i.e. In-N-Out). We both ordered the Jjamppong (seafood), as both of us had been craving it for awhile. One orders at the counter first, one then finds a table to sit, and then they bring you your order once it is ready. We had a very early "lunch" on a Saturday, which was more like a brunch so there were plenty of seating when we arrived. (Usually it's a bit too early for me to be eating spicy food but it was the only time that worked for the both of us.) #1 Jjamppong (seafood/beef) $13.99 Spicy Noodle Soup (seafood) To go: #5 Jjajang Myeon w/ Tangsuyuk $17.99 We were pleasantly surprised at the flavors, the cost, and the portions - especially with the amount of seafood included. I had originally been ordering Jjajang Myeon from another Chinese Korean restaurant on Colima but the flavors here knocked those out of the park, even with their Tangsuyuk. Throughout our meal, there were a steady stream of customers. The customer service was great and the food was delicious. I had so much food leftover from my Jjamppong but I basically ate it all day. The parking lot is a bit on the smaller side, but they do have a few spots, in front of their store, that they saved for their customers. I will most definitely be back!
